Hi , could anyone tell me the best product to seal an old and crumbly stone wall with please to stop dust and the fluffy salt mineral from coming through

I was adviced to use 'fixateur pour murs' which we bought from bricimarche and was €20 for 2 ltrs.Seemed to do the job ok
